ABOUT THE PENNYSAVER FACILITIES

PENNYSAVER OPERATED (3) 80,000SF+ SHOPPER INSERT PRINTING FACILITIES

The Mira Loma and Brea facilities produced 32 million flyers each on a weekly basis. Each faciity utilizes 3 modern cold set 21" web offset presses, 3 Diddie mini web presses and four GMA SLS 1000 inserters supported by complete and modern plant facilities & offices. The Vista Plant is similarly equipped with slightly smaller capabilities.

IP, including Trade names, domain names, customer lists are available as well, as per the details below.

WEB PRESSES

(3) Global G100 21” (530mm) cut off by 28” Coldset web offset presses. (2) Press lines w/ 4 high tower and (5) 2 highs. Third press line has 4 high and (6) 2 high towers. All with Meg Tec tandem splicers, 221 ½ + ¼ folder, ribbon deck, remote ink & register and each line has STI 4K trimmer and STI 2500 stacker. All either new or remanufactured in 2004. Tensor T400BE 21” (530mm) cut off by 35” Coldset web offset line. Equipped with T400BE 4 high tower, (4) 2 high towers, Tensor folder, (all new 2003) and 2007 STI 4k trimmer and STI 2500 stacker. (2) Tensor/Goss 21” (530mm) cut off by 35” Coldset web offset press lines with; Butler 4050 splicers, Tensor T400BE 4 high tower, (4) remanufactured Goss Community 2 high towers, Goss Magnum folders, STI 4K trimmers and 2500 stackers. (2) Goss Community 21” (530mm) cut off by 35” Coldset web offset web press lines; each with 4 high Goss tower and (5) 2 high towers, Vits prefolder, Goss Magnum Folder, Muller 341 Rotary 4K trimmer and Gammerler STC 70 counter stackers. (3) Global/DEV 21 ½” cut off by 36” Coldset web offset presses each equipped with 4 high tower, (5) 2 high towers, Martin splicer, folder, etc. (currently not in use) (7) Didde 22” by 17 ½ web presses, all either 5 or 6 units, some with plow folders and camera inspections, Martin splicers.

(12) Muller/GMA SLS1000 Newspaper inserters, All between 12 and 24 pockets, all with Dynaric automatic strappers, joggers and ink jet stations. As new as 2006 (5) Muller 227-17 pocket inserters

STEP 1 – REGISTER

ONSITE: Bidders should register on the morning of the sale at the sale site location. Onsite bidders will be required to provide, at or before time of registration, a minimum deposit of $500 Cash Deposit (NO EXCEPTIONS) and must maintain a minimum deposit of 25% of their total bid amount during the course of the auction. Bidders should be prepared onsite with multiple cashiers check or personal/business check accompanied with a bank letter of guarantee.

ONLINE: Bidders must register at bidspotter.com by clicking on the Register Now button for this auction. Online bidding requires a refundable deposit equal to 25% of anticipated purchases, $500 minimum for U.S. participants & $5,000 minimum for International participants. NO ONE WILL BE APPROVED WITHOUT A DEPOSIT. To ensure approval as a bidder, please make deposit arrangements no later than 24 hours prior to the auction. Failure to do so may preclude participation in the auction, as we may not be able to respond to registration requests on the day of sale.

All deposits made by cashiers check, wire transfer or personal/business check accompanied with a bank letter of guarantee will be returned within 7 days unless purchases are made.

STEP 2 – VIEW ITEMS

You may preview the inventory at the three different locations in Mira Loma, Brea and Vista, CA during the posted Preview times and days. We will also list all items in the catalog on the BidSpotter site. To view the event details and catalog, click on “View Items & Bid" above.

STEP 3 – PAYMENT

After the event is complete on September 17, you will receive an e-mail confirming any items/lots won. Payment of balance due must be made by 5pm on the day following the Completion of the Auction (please note, wire transfers must be initiated by 2pm PT). Payments being made during the first day of checkout will be done at the Mira Loma plant. You may then arrange pickup of your items.

STEP 4 - PICKUP

Buyer is responsible to arrange to have its purchased Items packed, insured, rigged, moved or shipped, and shall accept full responsibility for all labor, materials and costs necessary to complete its removal, as well as any damages, losses, acts or omissions related to Buyer's removal of purchased Items from the sale site.

Certificates of Insurance are required from any purchaser or their agents that will be removing items which require rigging, moving, dismantling, cutting, grinding, purging, cutting or disconnecting electrical or plumbing utilities, use of any type of vehicle or material handling equipment (i.e. forklift, crane or similar), or based on special circumstances as determined exclusively by Auctioneers.

BULK LOT TERMS: This auction includes the offering of a number of bulk lots. In certain cases a number of lots from the catalog will be offered first in bulk and then individually. The bulk lots are subject to the aggregate price received for the individual lots. In the event the aggregate bids of the individual lots exceed the bulk bid by 10%, the sale will be awarded to the individual lot bidders.

ALL SALES ARE FINAL: We attempt to provide lot information to buyers for guidance, where possible. However, all items are sold 'As-Is, Where-Is', per the terms of the sale. Any Guidance provided is not intended to substitute a buyer's responsibility to inspect items and arrive at their own determination of an item's condition. Further, Auctioneer's inclusion or exclusion of item condition on one item should not be used to infer the condition of another item.
